Rekindling Spanish for my dinosaur
If given the preference, Trenton is still asking for Chinese over Spanish. This has created the challenge of keeping him interested in Spanish. I know not everyone has access to HBO Latino, but if you do, think about recording El Perro y El Gato. Trenton is showing more interest in Spanish and I will post an update if it sticks. Here is a youtube link of the show!
I am also going to try these videos available for free:

Do dinosaurs like music?
Mine does! He wants to learn the guitar, but so far, I am teaching him using a piano. Since his fingers do not reach the keys well yet, I primarily am teaching him the names of the notes, rhythm, and music patterns. He doesn't know it yet, but his Mimi is getting him a ukulele for his fourth birthday. We are using a website to help us learn together:

What language should a dinosaur use?
Chinese or Spanish? Well since he is a dino growing up in Oklahoma, the obvious choice would be Spanish. The unfortunate thing is he is more curious about Chinese and wants to learn that. Do I encourage him to learn what he is passionate about? You bet! Besides using Youtube, I have found a few sites that he is responding well to.

Trentonsaurus Rex learns Yoga
I want my little dinosaur to grow up with natural leadership skills. There has been a huge response from the scientific community to help shape our future leaders, and one thing they have found is that yoga, gymnastics, and martial arts help train our youth with important leadership skills. I found this neat pdf file that you can print to help teach you how to teach your child yoga. http://www.childrensyoga.com/fliers/Animal_Adventure-%20Age%202-7.pdf. I have also been using youtube to help with music and other poses.
